It’s Sunday morning and I’m looking back at an awesome DotNED event in Doorn. The location was very nice, the audience was a blast, and my two fellow speakers Jonne Kats and Peter Hesseling did a great job. Thanks to everybody for being there!
Some of the statements made on Twitter for backing up my enthusiasm:
- obelink: +1! and @ddoomen: well done!
- roelsn: Druk dagje vandaag! Leuke #dotned meeting in Doorn thnx @ddoomen
- LocalJoost: What I especially liked about #dotned was the concrete translation in code of pretty high level architecture concepts. Makes it alive for me
- RolandGuijt: @ddoomen #dotned You’re welcome. You did a great job dealing with the feedback and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Thanks!
- peSHIr: Agreed. I’d like to see (and discuss) at least half of the @ddoomen #dotned material if I could...
- sorskoot: Had a great #dotned day today!
- peSHIr: Same here. Was great day anyway, but I guess I really missed something today as well. #dotned
- evappeld: Attended great #dotNed event today, @ddoomen thanx for sharing your thoughts about a good software architecture.

Sorry I wasn't there. Quick tip: the links to Twitter reactions might be easier (especially later on) when they link to the actual twitter message instead of to the profile of the speaker. Eg. link to http://twitter.com/peSHIr/status/9744516057 instead of to just http://twitter.com/peSHIr.
Funny how your blogpost almost makes it seem like I was actually there, depending of the exact interpretation of my two tweets in the list of tweets from (I expect) people that were actually in Doorn? ;-)
Hi Dennis,
Thanx again for your (extensive) efforts to make this a highly informative day. I learned alot in such a (relatively) short time, but more importantly...am very much inspired by your explanation of TDD & BDD.
I do have a question though. I saw on the dotNed site (somewhere) that this day is probably going to be repeated in the near future because of high interest. Since you had WAY ;) too much topics on your list this time...will you be addressing the same topics you allready covered? In other words, will it be valuable to attend again?
Unlike what was written or said earlier, there won't be repeat session. But we do have a dotNed evening planned on CQRS/Event Sourcing (one of the items that I skipped last Saturday). The date is not yet confirmed, but we expect to do this in the May edition.
